Approx 30k from Tollgate. A nice wetlands area with good walking tracks around and grassed areas. Toilets and picnic hut near car park.

Take freeway to Mt Barker, drive through Mt Barker on Adelaide Rd to roundabout, first left onto Alexandrina Rd then left onto Bald Hills Rd, continue past Ashton Hills golf course on the right and destination car park on the left.
DO NOT follow google maps via Springs Rd, opposite side, no entrance. Suggest any season except winter, very cold.

There are several toilets in the gardens. Gates open at 7:15 am.

Continue on Grand Trunkway to Garden Island, veer right to Eastern end of island.
